Departments should also collaborate with the facility operators and other local emergency service agencies to conduct a hazard mitigation analysis and develop pre-incident and emergencyresponse plans regarding the facility.
In total, 13 departments received gear and helmets in 2024, and the first 500 applicants also received a complimentary NVFC membership, courtesy of MSA. Congratulations to the final 2024 recipients: Tanner Volunteer Fire Department (Athens, AL), Hessmer (LA) Fire Department, and Taylorstown (PA) Volunteer Fire Department.
