The National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 NVFC Training Summit , taking place June 20-21 in Salt Lake City, UT. This signature conference provides an opportunity for firefighters and EMS providers to participate in valuable classroom training, idea sharing, and networking.
Volunteer fire departments often struggle to find the funding they need to purchase new gear for their firefighters. This years program wraps up with three additional departments each receiving four sets of Globe turnout gear and four MSA Cairns fire helmets to provide protection to their volunteer firefighters.
However, firefighters, EMS providers, rescue workers, and other responders often dont feel comfortable or safe expressing the stresses and challenges they experience, which can result in serious risks to themselves and others. All NFPA codes and standards can be viewed online for free at www.nfpa.org/freeaccess.
