MICN There are four different levels of medical first responders in New Jersey: EMRs, EMTs, MICPs, and MICNs. EMRs, or Emergency Medical Responders , know the basics of emergency medical care; They are trained in basic First Aid and CPR, and are taught proper body mechanics when lifting and moving patients.
